• To meet the financial requirements of Shrimp Farming/culture under Brackish water.
• Features :

Loans granted for Investment purposes :

• Construction of Rearing Ponds, inlets and outlets, Purchase and installation of electric motors / or engines /Generators, Purchase of aerators, nets and other accessories, Construction of supervisory / labour quarters, laboratories, feed godown / store room, water tower etc wherever necessary.

Loans for Operational Cost :

• Preparation of Ponds and stocking, Purchase of prawn seeds, fertilizers, prawn feed, fuel etc., Establishment expenses including labour wages watch and ward, power, harvesting and marketing expenses.

Form of Advance :

• Term Loan / Cash Credit / Overdraft

• Farmers, Individuals, Corporate farmers, Farmers' producer organizations /companies of individual farmers, partnership firms engaged in Agriculture or activities allied to Agriculture and / or Allied Activities.

Margin

• 15% for Small & Marginal farmers , 25% for others

Repayment

• Term loan – Maximum of 84 months (Half yearly installments).
• Overdraft/Cash Credit– 1 year (Renewable)
