Appointment of MD & CEO

Shri.G.Nagamal Reddy has been appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd. who has taken charge since 01.06.2009. Prior to this appointment, he was working as General Manager in Bank of Baroda and headed their Southern Zone, Chennai. Having graduated in Agriculture, he subsequently completed LLB and CAIIB. He started his career as Probationary Officer in Bank of Baroda in 1973 and elevated to this level by his dynamic performance. He worked in various cadres as Branch Head, Regional Head and Zonal Head, handled all type of banking activities. He has international experience having worked at Brussels(Belgium) and Port-Louis ( Mauritius) to head their Overseas Branches. Tamilnad Mercantile Bank will utilize his experience in Banking to achieve the Vision of reaching Rs.50000 Crore Business before the year 2013.
